About United for Development
30 years of building communities. United for Development (UD) was registered in the Gambia in September 2024, continuing the work of Concern Universal (CU), which was established in the Gambia in 1995 and later rebranded as United Purpose (UP) in 2018. United for Development (UD) is one of the most respected and longest-serving NGO actors present in The Gambia for the past 30 years.
This 5-year strategic plan of UD for the period 2026-2030 is geared towards achieving the following vision and mission:
